WHO QUALIFIES?

The HRA represents the interests of ratepayers in the geographical area of Ward 3 and part of Ward 4: from the Klein River Lagoon in the east to the New Harbour in the west and stretching from the coastline up into the southern slopes of Fernkloof Nature Reserve. This includes the suburbs of Voëlklip, Fernkloof, Kwaaiwater, Eastcliff, Hermanus Heights, the CBD, Northcliff, Westcliff, Westdene, the Industrial area and Mount Pleasant.
ONE ERF = ONE RATEPAYER = ONE MEMBER

Property Owner

Ratepayers over the age of 18 years who own property in the geographic area as set out above.

Power Of Attorney

Lessees, spouses or partners only qualify if they have a power of attorney to act on behalf of the owner/ratepayer.

Corporate Body

A corporate body or trust which owns property can nominate a person (in writing) to vote on its behalf.
